BEMS Support Engineer – Aberdeen based
Are you a seasoned Building Management Systems (BMS) Support Engineer hungry for a thrilling career move? We have an exciting opportunity for you as a Support (Service) Engineer to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities- Undertake preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building control systems in accordance with the service level agreement between ourselves and our customers.
- Produce concise reports from PPM visits to be submitted promptly in line with KPI’s from our customers.
- Keep various schedules and trackers of maintenance works up to date for visibility of both BMSI and our customers.
- Carry out small repairs & remedial works.
- Provide routine inspections of BMS equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Respond to customer service calls in the event of a system failure.
- Document service activities, including maintenance tasks, repairs, and client interactions.
- Familiar with Trend & IQ Vision. Experience with Tridium, Schneider Eco Struxure, ALC or similar systems would be advantageous; training will be provided where needed.
- Experience working within the building controls industry with an understanding of mechanical plant; time spent in data centre environments is advantageous.
- Proven diagnostic skills with the ability to systematically identify and resolve technical problems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Located within comfortable travelling distance of Aberdeen.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Hold a CSCS skill card or equivalent.
- PC literate.
- On-call for emergency or breakdown purposes on a rota basis.
- Highly competitive salary with an OTE of up to £61k
