Purpose of Role
  • The Senior Asset Integrity Engineer plays a key role in leading, coordinating the delivery of an integrated asset Integrity management Programme across Pressure systems, Structures and Pipelines to ensure safe, reliable and compliant operations.
  • The role provides technical input in Risk based decision making, Risk based inspection, integrity assessment, anomaly management and implementation of cost‑optimised inspection and maintenance strategies that manage risk and prevent major accident hazards.
  • The Senior Integrity Engineer plays a vital role coordinating the strategic work Programme into annual prioritized scopes to ensure the safe, environmentally responsible, cost‑effective and timely execution of the asset integrity inspection programme. The role will ensure the integrated team delivers all planned, corrective and remedial fabric and specialist vendors. Ensuring it is identified, prioritised and carried out to maintain the ongoing integrity of the asset and ensure safe operations.
  • The role will further ensure the strategic direction of the asset‑based team for ongoing asset integrity and developing optimisation strategies and implementing technology‑driven solutions to enhance asset integrity management, improve efficiency, and support long‑term asset reliability and compliance.
Critical Responsibilities (MAE/MATTE/HSES)
  • Ensure that all work identified by risk‑based Programmes is prioritised and prepared for work execution in a timely manner and meet company’s planning process.
  • Support company’s contracting companies enabling them to deliver the asset integrity management programme in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Harbour Energy HSES Procedures.
  • The Senior Asset Integrity Engineer will ensure the integrity of safety critical barriers by ensuring plant, equipment, pressure systems and pipelines are inspected, maintained and tested to prevent a loss of containment or structural failure.
  • The Senior Asset Integrity Engineer will lead the integrated team in the identification, assessment and communication of asset integrity risk ensuring regulatory and code compliance and the prevention of MAE, MATTE.
  • Ensure as‑found anomalies of Safety and Environmentally Critical Elements are assessed, prioritised and defects are managed effectively and proactively for ongoing integrity and that inspection data (results, reports, drawings) are accurate and processed appropriately.
