Our renowned oil & gas operating client are currently seeking HSE Representatives to work with them on a short-term Temporary Agency Worker contracts in the UK. The role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- The HSE Representatives will support the Engineering Preparation Removal and Disposal (EPRD) campaign schedule, which comprises three major decommissioning activities from Construction Support Vessels (CSVs) across several disembarked assets.
- Responsible for oversight and auditing of platform preparation activities by the removal contractor from their construction support vessel. Promote and ensure safe and environmentally responsible working practices in compliance with project standards and procedures, relevant regulatory requirements and bridging documentation.
- Responsible for environmental and site safety performance monitoring and reporting, incident reporting, and interfacing with the onshore HSE team. Work alongside the removal contractors Safety Officer and report directly to the EPRD OIM.
- Participate in any investigations relating to incidents that occur on company assets or vessels working within company 500m zones. This role may be required to work night shift to ensure a correct balance of supervision on site during the campaign.
Candidates must have detailed knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements for work on offshore installations.
- The successful incumbent will have experience supervising offshore work in a team lead or HSEA capacity.
- Applicants will have experience of risk and change management processes.
- Experience in an Operations, Safety and/or Environmental role required.
- Applicants must have NEBOSH or equivalent certification.
- This role will include offshore travel therefore all industry competency certification (BOSIET with CA-EBS, Medical and MIST) are required for this role.
