Fire Risk Assessor (Sub-Contracting) Aberdeen and Inverness

Fire Consultants / Fire Risk Assessors (FRA) – Sub-contract basis.

Location:

Aberdeen/Inverness area (ideally located in Aberdeen/Inverness/Perth or Dundee).

You will need to evidence your experience and IFE / IFSM certification. The Fire Consultant will be employed on a sub-contract basis and will deliver an excellent fire risk assessment report. You will act as the key point of contact for customers during site visits and help positively influence the customer’s perception of the company. You will undertake fire risk assessments for customers and make the necessary recommendations verbally on site and document them in the formal report.

• Demonstrate an industry leading fire safety knowledge to enable an industry leading and compliant fire risk assessment
• Produce accurate and efficient paperwork at all times
• Collaborate with the admin team to produce effective working practices
• Ensure best practice methods are used in the execution of the fire risk assessments
• Be fully responsible for the quality of service to fire risk assessment customers and staff
• Keep up to date with all current fire legislation and apply to assessments

• Proven and previous experience in the completion of Fire Risk Assessments
• Accredited to “Member” level - Institute of Fire Engineers or Institute of Fire Safety Managers or on the IFSM or IFE “competent risk assessor” register
• High levels of literacy and written communication skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Able to plan and organise workloads to meet time frames for service delivery
• Full UK driving licence

• Additional recognisable and professional qualification in fire safety management and fire risk assessments from credible providers:
• Fire Protection Association
• Fire Industry Association
• NEBOSH Fire
