Principal Responsibilities:
The Subsea Project Manager is responsible to ensure all aspects of contract and customer commitment is realized through out project execution, On Time Delivery, Quality, HSE, Cost Control and Risk Management as defined by the Customer’s Order or Contract, fulfilling both Customer and Business objectives. The Project Manager is the primary interface between the Company and the Customer internationally and locally with regards to the assigned scope and is responsible for developing and maintaining a good working relationship with the Customer and its representatives.

The Project Delivery Manager will lead and develop the internal project team in support of achieving the agreed project goals, ensuring all relevant procedures and processes are followed. Where appropriate, the PM will be required to support ongoing Business Development activities and provide support to tendering process.
The PM will be a visible leader and advocate of HSE and Quality for all relevant sites for the project and will work closely with all supporting functions in the fulfilment of the project.
- The project scope will be defined and documented in line with the project plan and project specifications.
- The PM will identify and quantify risks and manage the mitigation strategies.
- Resources and project schedules will be defined and controlled, working closely with the technical teams and local Project Delivery Manager.
- All project deliverables will be reviewed and approved in line with the project specifications.
- The PM shall provide the project cost and schedule status to the higher-level stakeholders and Request for Change (RFCs) or Change Order reviews.
- All required design and construction approvals will be obtained and/or verified and documented in the project database or project information system.
- All project risks will be identified, assessed and managed within the risk register (project risk register). The PM will monitor project risk and ultimately determine if actions are needed to mitigate the risks.
- The PM will monitor project execution against project objectives and project plan and report to the SLA and Quality assurance.
- Issues will be managed in a proactive manner to address the risks and minimize the impact to scope, cost and schedule of the project.
- All project documentation will be checked and approved before final sign‑off.
- All site and off‑site requirements will be met and delivered in a timely manner.
- KPIs will be tracked and reported to the QA/QC team for performance assurance.
- Risk mitigation plans will be implemented, monitored and closed.
- All required documentation will be tracked according to the project requirements and is stored on the project platform.
- A project agenda will be created on the project portal for project status reviews, approvals, etc.
- Change requests will be updated promptly by the PM. Project milestones will be updated by the PM.
- Reporting, analysis and corrective actions will be recorded against the KPI system.
- People will be onboarded and the best persons will be hired.
- All project deliverables will be properly defined and organized in the project framework.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience in Project Management with execution of Projects.
- Project management certification/ Degree in an appropriate discipline or equivalent experience.
- Significant Project Management experience in Oil & Gas Subsea projects.
- Proven experience in handling of complex technical tasks in an interdisciplinary environment.
- Strong commercial, financial and contractual awareness.
- Very good communication, inter-personal and negotiation skills.
- Experience in a client facing role.
- Skilled in English.
- Proven capability of working in a matrix environment.
- Team Player, self-motivated and energetic individual.
