Role Overview:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to work as Teaching Assistants/Learning Support Assistants within challenging primary schools in the Croydon area. This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible. The role involves providing essential support to both teachers and students, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.

* Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance.

* Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

* Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

* Assist with the planning and preparation of learning materials.

* Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers.

* Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff members.

Requirements:

* A passion for education and a desire to support young learners.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

* Patience, empathy, and resilience when working with challenging situations.

* A relevant degree or experience working within an educational setting (graduates welcome).

* Experience working with children with SEND is advantageous but not essential.
