Job Purpose

To deliver quality to assigned pupils and contribute to the professional, corporate life of the school in relation to pupils, staff and appropriate external bodies within the agreements of the SNCT.

Primary Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external partners.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Appropriate teaching qualification.
• Full GTC (Scotland) registration in the appropriate subject/sector, or eligibility for such registration.
• PVG scheme membership – Working with Children.

Desirable Attributes

• Standard for Full Registration (details available through provided link).
• Previous teaching experience and a commitment to continuous professional development.
