The Role
As an Operations Agent, you’ll play a vital part in the smooth running of our Service Centre. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, both internal and external, ensuring that every interaction reflects the high standards DHL is known for.
You’ll handle a variety of key customer-facing and operational tasks, from greeting visitors and answering calls to resolving customer queries and ensuring compliance with DHL processes and safety procedures.
This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same, requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
🔑 What You’ll Be Doing- Acting as the first point of contact for all Service Centre customers, over the phone and face‑to‑face.
- Providing administrative and operational support to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Managing problem pieces and arranging redistribution in line with global standards.
- Maintaining compliance with all safety, security, customs, import/export, and internal DHL procedures.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver consistently high service levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong IT skills and the ability to work with multiple systems.
- A team player who builds strong working relationships.
- Able to stay calm under pressure and solve problems proactively.
- Previous administrative or operational experience is desirable.
- £27,000 per annum salary
