Position: Buyer (Contract)
NES Fircroft are supporting a key O&G client with a Buyer position, based in Aberdeen.

This will be an ongoing, long term PAYE contract position, and will have you supporting their ROV division. Within the role, you will be responsible for the purchase orders within their Aberdeen office, working in collaboration with the other buyers and reporting to the Procurement Manager.

It will be a Monday to Friday role, working 37.5 hours per week and the client can offer flexible / hybrid work, once training is complete.

What we're looking for:

Support internal stakeholders and external Vendors throughout the entire Tender process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures
Prepare commercial and economic bid tabulations to compare proposals and contribute to negotiations to achieve the best bid result
Draft and manage purchase orders, service contracts and agreements, including handling deviations, revisions and extensions
Close out Tender exercises by securing vendor confirmations, arrange handover meetings to internal Agreement owner/User Depts, and complete proper document handover and electronic archiving
Manage and verify technical documentation received with Purchase

Requisition s and Technical Evaluations, ensuring correctness and alignment with company standards
