Accountant, Financial Reporting, Financial Analyst

TEXO Recruitment is working with our client to recruit an Accountant to support their finance team. This role is suited to a detail-oriented and proactive individual with a solid grounding in accounting principles and business processes.

Working under general supervision, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accounting reports, analysing financial data, maintaining compliance with internal controls, and supporting the wider finance function. • Gain a thorough understanding of company business systems, processes, and internal controls.
• Prepare accurate accounting reports and perform complex financial analyses using spreadsheets and accounting software.
• Prepare and post journal entries and support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Research, investigate, and resolve accounting issues in line with company procedures and control frameworks.
• Ensure all transactions comply with internal policies and relevant accounting standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate records and support audits as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 months’ experience in an accounting or finance-related role.
• Knowledge of US GAAP or relevant local accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP or financial software systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
