• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs when assistance is needed.
• Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events.
• Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues and improve the guest experience.
• Thank guests and let them know you’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
• Know and discuss the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Understand and show guests how to use the Target App features, including Wallet; be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering, and direct guests to enroll, activate and use these features.
• Handle returns following register prompts; partner with leaders as needed to solve for the guest while following Target’s policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area by gathering unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers for removal.
• Stock supplies during store hours while being available for the guest.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) orders, DU returns and maintain compliance with applicable laws (e.g., adult beverage) while executing duties.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office operations as needed.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance required.
• Remain mobile for the duration of a shift; shift length may vary.
• Work in varying temperatures and conditions, including Drive-Up and carryout duties.

Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $15.75 USD per hour
