Job Summary
As a Team Member at Circle K, you are the face of the store and play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with South Dakota laws, including those related to alcohol sales.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist with purchases and answer product-related questions.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays.
- Maintain cleanliness of the store, including restrooms and parking areas.
- Receive and verify deliveries.
- Verify age and all alcohol purchases.
- Follow state and company policies regarding alcohol handling and sales.
- Maintain secure storage and accurate inventory of alcohol products.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents to management.
- Ensure compliance with health and sanitation standards.
- Work cooperatively with team members and management.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Support store promotions and events.
- Must be at least 21 years old (required for alcohol sales).
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
