The Container Store Distribution Center Direct to Consumer department is looking for Pickers/Packers to join our e-commerce team. As a Picker/Packer

  - Wednesday (7am-5:30pm) and Thursday

• Follow standardized work as it relates to picking, packing and cutting procedures.
• Consistently meet time-based productivity standards.
• Utilize the voice picking system to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure the correct quantity and quality of items are picked/packed for each order according to established procedures.
• Work in multi-level picking modules and around conveyor systems.
• Maintain a safe work area, adhering to safety policies and procedures.
• Adhere to standardized work related to picking (less than case and full case), packing and cutting procedures.
• Support and work in various departments throughout the Distribution Center.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Maintain inventory accuracy throughout the Distribution Center.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency in operating walkie rider and stock chaser.
• Experience in a highly automated distribution environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of distribution systems such as labor management systems, RF devices and voice picking preferred.
• Utilization of pneumatic tools and ability to cut metal to precision.
• Strong spatial awareness to ensure accurate packaging and space optimization.
• Ability to stand 100% of the time and walk ~50%; lift up to 47 pounds independently.
• Proficiency in computer skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Punctual and prepared to begin work at scheduled shift times; flexible to work additional hours as needed.
• Ability to make strategic decisions in the best interest of customers and the company while processing information objectively.
