The Cloud Engineer will support the Army Next Generation Command and Control mission at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) in Maryland.  This project requires a TS/SCI clearance and is a full-time onsite position at that location within SCIF.  The cloud engineer will collaborate with data engineers, systems integration engineers and other cloud platform engineers.

* Job Responsibilities:

*** Support existing Cloud capabilities on a commercial and edge-based cloud
* Design and support services for authorization, authentication, CICD pipelines
* Deign and operate services for continuous ATO
* Integrate and operate services with 3rd party vendors including Anduril and Palantir
* Optimize code for high availability in edge computing and data mesh operations
** Required Qualifications
*** 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant technical field
* TS/SCI Security Clearance
* Experience with AWS or similar
* Experience with highly scalable microservice ecosystems
* Experience with edge-deployed services.
* High bandwidth APIs and data ingest
* Strong interpersonal skills for working within a broad technical team and with customers
* Ability to communicate technical details of work
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take ownership for segments of a project
* Ability to build & optimize build pipelines
** Desired Experience
*** Experience with Anduril and Palantir data mesh APIs.
