Heavy Plant Fitter Recyling + Quarry Plant

TAZROCK Material Processing (TMP) is specialized in providing professional Crushing and Screening services for the Quarrying, Construction, and Recycling industries. TMP offers a wide array of services including machine hire and sales, crushing, screening, plant maintenance, and the supply of quarried and recycled aggregates.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Aberdare for a Heavy Plant Fitter Recycling + Quarry Plant position. The Heavy Plant Fitter is responsible for conducting maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a variety of heavy plant machinery used in quarrying and recycling operations. Duties include diagnosing faults, working on hydraulic and mechanical systems, ensuring operational efficiency, and adhering to safety protocols while working on machinery in both workshop and field environments.

• Proven experience and skills in diagnosing and repairing heavy plant machinery, with a focus on quarry and recycling equipment.
• Competence in working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Strong understanding of plant maintenance and servicing to maintain operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to plant machinery operations.
• Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with time management skills and flexibility.
• A relevant technical qualification or equivalent experience in heavy plant maintenance or engineering is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required for the role.
