Full Time/6-month FTC with a view to going permanent

Working Hours:

Mon - Thurs, 07:30-16:00, and Fri, 07:30-13:30

Salary: £33.5k

The Health & Safety Advisor will provide professional guidance and operational support to ensure the organisation maintains a safe, legally compliant, and risk‑aware working environment.

A key focus of this role is the management, implementation, and continuous improvement of DSEAR controls across relevant processes, equipment, and facilities.

• NEBOSH General Certificate
• Demonstrable experience working with DSEAR in an operational, engineering, manufacturing, or chemical environment
• Strong understanding of hazardous substances, flammable atmospheres, and associated control measures
• Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits
• Confident communicator able to influence at all levels
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
