Our client is a global leader in fixed-wing aerial firefighting, operating a large fleet of specialized aircraft dedicated to combating forest fires. With more than 50 years of experience, our client supports government agencies worldwide and is recognized for service excellence and operational leadership. Their organization combines aerospace engineering, aircraft conversion, aviation maintenance, and seasonal firefighting operations across multiple countries. The culture is built on teamwork, safety, and service, with a shared mission of protecting communities and natural environments from wildfires.
Our client is currently seeking experienced pilots to join their team for the upcoming 2026 season and beyond.
What You Can Expect:
As a pilot with our client, you will be part of a dynamic team using your skills to protect communities from wildfires. Our client offers a supportive environment focused on safety, teamwork, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate firefighting aircraft in domestic and international missions
- Ensure safe, precise, and efficient flight operations in challenging conditions, including mountainous terrain
- Participate in regular training and adhere to all safety and operational protocols
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will meet the following criteria:
- Canadian citizen or legal right to work in Canada
- Ability to obtain required work visas for international assignments
- Valid Canadian Driver’s License and Passport
- Commitment to residing in Canada during the fire season
- Ability to obtain a Canadian Category 1 Medical Certificate
- Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time
- Minimum 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) experience
- At least 250 hours flying in mountainous terrain
- Recent flying experience within the last 12 months
Additional Qualifications for Specific Aircraft:
For seaplane or tailwheel aircraft positions:
- 500 hours PIC on seaplane in a commercial operation, or
- 200 hours on certified tailwheel aircraft

A lack of seaplane or tailwheel experience will not preclude other applicants from consideration.
