Job Summary

Responsible for providing a home‑like, comfortable environment in the individual setting. Ensure that each resident has the opportunity to develop to the fullest extent of his/her abilities and desires. Establish a warm, personal relationship with each individual living in the home, encourage the active participation of parents, siblings, and friends, and keep the resident’s safety and well‑being the priority at all times.

• Ensure the safety and well‑being of all residents at all times.

• Clear criminal record check through the Ministry of Public Safety and Justice, Adult Care or Community Care.
• First Aid/CPR food‑safe certification.
• Valid Class 4 or 5 driver’s licence.
• Favorable and current driver abstract.
• Minimum of two work‑related references (supervisory).
• Education:
  
  degrees, diplomas, certifications, training seminars.
• Employment history with HOMES.

• Posting Number: 653 villages
• Position open to all applicants.
• Pay:
  As per collective agreement.
• Hours:
  
  Friday 3‑11 pm, Saturday 7‑3 pm, Sunday dolo 7‑3 pm (24 hours per week).
• Location:
  
  Abbotsford, BC.
• Reports To:
  
  Direct Coordinator/Director/Human Resources.
• Driving Requirements:
  Driver’s License (Class 5).
• Nation Final date to receive applications:
