The ideal candidate understands business operations, enjoys problem-solving, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced transportation environment. Is comfortable making cold calls and going out in the field to prospect new client. Having own portfolio of clients an asset. As an Account Specialist you will need to fully manage your clients account, scheduling the load from start to finish.
Qualifications- Experience in Logistics / Trucking industry
- Knowledge in Long Haul Transportation would be an asset
- Organized and level headed while overcoming challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts
- Proactively identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to customers
- Support growth initiatives such as new lanes, customers, or services
