What
you’ll do
Efficiently pick and assemble orders from various temperature areas with great care and quality in mind to achieve “On Time” delivery to customers.Pack orders with attention to detail, including distinguishing between similar named products, exact quantity, correct product codes.Ensure that products picked are of the highest quality i.e. no damaged products, freshest product selection, etc.Correctly document and label all orders through interpretation and understanding of pick slips, packaging details, shipping labels, etc.Optimize tote fill by packing orders in a space‑efficient manner while still maintaining product quality standards.Balance fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction and offer service, including supporting issues to resolution.Ensure strict adherence to safety and food hygiene standards, maintain a clean and hygienic work area, immediately clean up all spills and debris, and ensure all totes are clean and void of debris before packing. Operate material‑handling equipment safely, performing all pre‑inspection checks before use; exhibit behaviors that support the organization’s mission and core values.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes including but not limited to operational procedures, productivity standards, efficiencies, customer satisfaction, safety, working conditions, and quality standards; demonstrate flexibility in completing or adjusting work assignments based on customer requests and meeting daily delivery schedules.The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.00. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
