The Door Manufacturing Supervisor

The Door Manufacturing Supervisor supports the daily production operations of the door pre-hanging facility by providing hands‑on leadership, coordination, and technical expertise. This role ensures production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Acting as a working lead, the position guides team members, monitors workflow, and supports management with scheduling, communication, and operational planning. Shifts run Monday to Friday, with a wage range of $28–$32 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily production activities to maintain efficient workflow and meet output goals.
  • Assist the General Manager with labor planning, task assignments, and progress monitoring.
  • Train, mentor, and support production team members in day‑to‑day tasks.
  • Ensure all products meet company quality standards and specifications.
  • Monitor equipment and materials, reporting maintenance needs promptly.
  • Support communication between production, shipping, and management.
  • Promote and enforce workplace safety policies and maintain a clean, organized environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts and recommend process enhancements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for production in the General Manager’s absence.
  • Uphold company values and represent the organization positively with employees and customers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements

  • Previous lead hand or leadership experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or door production is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of word working processes, tools and materials.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, drawings, and measurements accurately.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Basic computer literacy

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Standing for long periods of time.
  • Frequently performing repetitive tasks.
