Warehouse Associate

As a Warehouse Freezer Associate, you will play a key role in contributing to the continued success of Silver Hills Bakery, whose mission is to inspire individuals to live a healthy lifestyle. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic production work environment and will have the opportunity to learn new skills and work in a team setting. In this role, you are responsible for completing the duties listed below as well as other duties as assigned by your manager or their designate.

• Follow all safety and quality standards as set out by the company
• Locate, pick, wrap and stage outgoing product in freezer environment
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area
• Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually and using powered equipment
• Operate and drive straight trucks to transport goods and materials over urban and short inter-urban routes
• Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicle systems and equipment such as tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage
• Check, weigh, and count materials and products
• Complete order picking, packing, and receiving
• Material handling, inventory, clean-up, packaging, and other elemental activities in processing and manufacturing
• Complete reports by entering the required information
• Other duties as required

• Forklift Certificate
• Able to lift 25kg repeatedly
• Basic RF and computerized WMS knowledge
• Able to work flexible shifts
• Basic mathematic skills
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must have a positive attitude
• Have excellent communication and organizational skills
