Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lower Mainland for an Environmental Coordinator. The Environmental Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring environmental compliance, monitoring projects for policy adherence, supporting project management, and addressing environmental issues. The role involves working closely with stakeholders, managing project documentation, and ensuring projects align with applicable environmental laws and standards. Additional responsibilities may include supporting erosion and sediment control measures, environmental mitigation, and contributing to Indigenous monitoring initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of Environmental Compliance and Environmental Policy
  • Experience in addressing Environmental Issues and conducting Environmental Technical Reporting
  • Understanding of Environmental Law and its application in construction projects
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Relevant certifications or training in environmental science or a related field
  • Experience working in diverse landscapes and ecosystems is an asset
  • A degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related discipline is preferred
