Junior IT System Engineer

• Design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, storage, network devices, and cloud platforms.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime and optimal operation.
• Implement security protocols, perform regular system updates (Cisco preferred)
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights for various systems and applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver IT solutions that meet strategic business objectives.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and policies for knowledge sharing and audit purposes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Skills in IT systems engineering, network administration, or a similar technical role.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V), and cloud platforms (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with firewalls, routing, switching, and other network technologies.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Power Shell, Java, Python) is an advantage.
• Fist Experience in Database Administration (Postgre
  
  SQL)
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fluent in German and English
